What do you want to know about me?

I live in Upstate New York with my husband and my three dogs. We did not always live locally. We spent several years living north of Boston, in the little seacoast town of Gloucester, where we raised our children.

I also lived in Darmstadt, Germany while serving in the US Army. I saw a Dali exhibit in Stuttgart. I visited Paris on a bus tour, managed to get lost in the Flea Market, missed my ride back to the barracks, and had to take a train the following day after getting assistance from the US Embassy. I also visited Holland and got to see the van Gogh Museum.

I love graphic design, in particular, package design. I am a recent graduate of Sage College of Albany, magna cum laude, with a BFA in Graphic and Media Design. I am currently attending Southern New Hampshire University for my masters in Social Media Marketing.

I am a member of the Graphic Artist Guild and I am also the Albany, NY regional coordinator for the AIGA. I have done either graphic design internships or long-term volunteering for Sodexo Food Service at UAlbany, Opalka Gallery at Sage College of Albany, The Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy, NY, NYS Department of Civil Service in Albany, NY, and currently the Museum of Innovation and Science (miSci) in Schenectady, NY. I also do freelance design.

Lastly, I have just recently had testing done with a diagnoses of autism. That is about all I can say about that, except it does not define me. I am an awesome designer and a straight A student. I can do anything I put my mind to. For years I did not understand myself and now I am just learning to accept myself. I am so fortunate to have had all of my life’s experiences that I have had, but am sad that I always felt different than everyone around me and never knew why. Most people say they can’t even tell there is anything wrong with me, except I do not make good eye contact a lot of the time. I am now learning how to cope with my diagnoses and deal with it.

My passions are creating sidewalk chalk art (See my portfolios.), collecting beach glass when we go to the ocean, working on the gardens around the koi pond we installed, playing with my dogs and working on my food blog.
